Unlike ABCD: ANYBODY CAN DANCE, Remo D'Souza's upcoming 3D dance film ABCD 2 is based on a real story of a dance group called Fictitious group from Nalasopara.

At the trailer launch of ABCD 2 Remo said, “When I about to finished ABCD, I got the story of ABCD 2 because this is based on a true story and incident. This story is of Fictitious group from Nalasopara. Coming from a small town how did they reach Vegas, America and compete with the world champions, this story is all about that. We haven't tweaked the story a lot because their journey was so good that we have tried to show that in the film.”

Ask him why Kay Kay Menon is not a part of this film and he says, “ABCD 1 and ABCD 2 have no connection. That was a different story and this film will have a totally different story. In this story, there was no strong character that I could offer to Kay Kay Menon hence he isn't in ABCD 2.”

Starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhu Dheva, Punit Pathak, Lauren Gottlieb, Dharmesh Yelande & others, ABCD 2 is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur & directed by Remo D'Souza. This sequel to ABCD: ANY BODY CAN DANCE is set to release on 19th June, 2015.
