Now-a-days, Bollywood actors are taking risks and readily experimenting with different genres. Varun Dhawan & Shraddha Kapoor, who will be seen together in the upcoming 3D Bollywood film ABCD 2 have also experimented and explored the dance genre.
At the trailer launch event, when Varun was asked to comment on people forgetting the earlier films of the actors with every new release, he said, “I think, this is not only a thing of our filmmakers or actors, it's a part of our country. And I believe in forgetting. What was in the past is in the past. We should stay in the present & think about the future. And the present & future is ABCD 2.”

“In the first shot of the trailer, you see the CG robot, that's already the future, that's not come to our country but you will see a glimpse of it in ABCD 2. We are trying to move cinema ahead and be progressive. With every film of mine, I want to try something different & try a different genre. BADLAPUR was a different film and ABCD 2 is a brand new genre. I don't think any actor is doing a film of dance genre today. Shraddha & I are one of the first actors to have picked up that genre because we want to take it ahead,” Varun added.
Also starring Prabhu Dheva, Punit Pathak, Lauren Gottlieb, Dharmesh Yelande & others, ABCD 2 is directed by Remo D'Souza & produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. This sequel to ABCD: ANY BODY CAN DANCE is set to release on 19th June, 2015.
