Vivek Gomber, the producer and actor of the multiple award-winning film COURT, says that he wasn't skeptical to produce the film.

“Initially, it was only about the script. I told Chaitanya Tamhane (film's director) to explore the text first. He took a year to write the script and I totally loved it. I took a month after that to say yes as a producer. We were very clear about not compromising the film in any way. I was hoping that a co-production would happen but it didn't and I had to put in my own money entirely,” said Vivek.

Ask him at what point he decided to act in the film and he says, “The decision to act in COURT wasn't mine. It was Chaitanya's call. I would not interfere in casting. If he would ask me my opinion, I would tell him. We were very clear that ‘Agar aap paise dal rahe ho to baap nahin ban jaate'. And I'm not that kind of a producer.”

COURT released all over today.
