The earliest that one remembers about the graceful Gracy Singh (apart from her TV appearances) is the Sunil Shetty, Tabu venture HU TU TU, but her global crowning glory was via Aamir Khan's LAGAAN, followed by Hirani's iconic MUNNABHAI MBBS and the Amitabh - Anil Kapoor venture ARMAAN, not to forget Prakash Jha's GANGAAJAL, to name a few.

An interesting aspect of her career has been that many actresses who made their debut alongside and even after Gracy have already disappeared. When we asked Gracy about the secret of her longevity, she was rather amused saying, “Really! That's an interesting observation. Honestly I never thought of it. I can give credit to my audience for their support. May be it is because of the work I put in for Brahma Kumari Organisation.”

Gracy will next be seen in GANDHI-THE HERO (along with Milind Gunaji). When we queried Gracy about how this venture is different from many other films based on Mahatma Gandhi, she told us, “GANDHI-THE HERO is not a biopic about his life. It is about his moral teachings and values and how the youths of today can incorporate those in their lives for a better society.”

Talking about her exact role she went on, “I play a nun in the film who is a sort of a social activist. My character is something like that of Mother Teresa”, concludes Gracy.
