We all know that Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen portraying the role of a mother in the upcoming movie BROTHERS, but she wasn't expecting a call from Karan Johar for that role! She may have got second thoughts on taking up that role but she took up the challenge.
When Jacqueline was asked how she came on board for BROTHERS, she said, “Karan Johar had actually called me up and I knew about this project being made called BROTHERS but I never expected this call because I knew it was for a mother's role. We sat down in office and discussed the movie and my initial reaction was should I do it or not? But after reflecting on it, I knew that this was something that could be cool, it will give me a challenge, it could maybe change my perception for a lot of people and I thought that if I don't do it now when will I be able to do that?”

Since there are three male leads (Akshay Kumar, Jackie Shroff and Sidharth Malhotra) in the film, probe Jackie if she was ever apprehensive that her role in the film would be overshadowed by them and she says, “Not really. I knew everyone had a specific part and role to play. For me the length of a role isn't very imperative, it's the impact of a role. They needed a Jenny in this movie. The story is essentially about the brothers, but at the same time Akshay's back story is his family and you need to have a glimpse of that in order to feel for David (Akshay). A stronger reason for me to do this film was because it was a very important character in a huge movie, you've got Akshay, Sidharth, Jackie sir playing father to the two actors and Karan Malhotra directing it. I think it is great when you can be such an essential and instrumental part of a movie.”
We are waiting to catch this Karan Malhotra directed, Karan Johar produced film on Friday, 14th August, 2015. Are you all too?
