Post the success of the film BABY; it appears Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is treading an unusual path. Recently, she along with her sister Shagun started wedding planning business and now the actress has given her nod for Tigmanshu Dhulia's short film.

Says Taapsee, “Yes I have signed a short film with Tigmanshu Dhulia. We met in a party through a common friend and he told me that he is scripting a short film. However, he has not yet decided anything in detail. But when he asked me, I was game for it. Mostly it will be a love story now whether it will be rom-com, intense love story or simple love story or out of the box that you will have to wait to find out.”

Interestingly, Taapsee will be paired with her upcoming film RUNNINGSHAADI.COM co-star Amit Sadh in Tigmanshu Dhulia's short film. Ask if they were paired strategically and Taapsee clears, “Yes Amit Sadh is part of the film but it wasn't planned that way. Since, Tigmanshu Dhulia is working with Amit Sadh in YAARA; he was in for short film also. So it was coincidental that Amit and I are again part of the same project.”

Recently, Sujoy Ghosh's short film AHALYA featuring Radhika Apte went viral and it did receive good response. Quiz Taapsee if short films are future of Bollywood and she says, “Short films I think are the order of the day. Internet is in demand. Everything is online today. So in coming days more and more people will flock here. More short films will be made, as it becomes easy to make and release films online. There are no big hassles. Audience is easily accessible. With the growing demand of internet, I think short films will increase.”

But does she think it will affect the business of Bollywood? “I don't think so. Do you think despite having 20-20 matches, Cricket test series have lost its charm? Similarly, watching a two and a half hour feature film in a theatre is different from catching a short 15 min film on the net. Nothing can replace the theatre experience. I am just saying that feature films will be made but the demand of short films will also rise,” says the actress.
Well, true said Taapsee!
