After suffering a muscle spasm on the sets of DANGAL while pulling off a wresting sequence, Aamir Khan had taken a break from the shoot. After wrapping up the last schedule, Aamir returned to Mumbai to take some rest. He later moved to US citing the reason to meet son Junaid in US (post his controversy).
And now the actor is back from US and all set to resume the shoot of his upcoming film DANGAL. Aamir is set to leave for Pune today to shoot a schedule of the film in the city. It is said that the schedule will last for eight to ten days and Aamir will be back in the city before Christmas. The DANGAL team will shoot in Pune stadiums.
Currently, Aamir is following a less strenuous workout regimen because of his muscle sprain.
A spokesperson confirms the news and adds, “After a long schedule of the film in Ludhiana, the DANGAL team kickstarts shoot in Pune today.”
DANGAL, based on the life of Haryana-based wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, was previously shot in Ludhiana in the villages of Gujjarwal, Kila Raipur, Narangwal, Dango and Leel for 40 days.
