Recently, When music baron, T-Series' Bhushan Kumar met writer-singer-com poser Gurinder Seagal to discuss a new single, featuring Sooraj Pancholi and Jacqueline Fernandez, he asked the Punjabi pop-star to recommend a female singer for the duet.
“When I was asked who should sing the female bits, I immediately said that Jackie should do it. Bhushan sir then convinced Jackie and we recorded “GF“ two days ago at his studio,” says Gurinder Seagal.
As the title suggests, the song is a romantic track revolving around “the girlfriend“.
“There is an upbeat part in the song where Jackie really wants to be with the guy, but also wants the boy to work a little harder to be with her. It's typical Jackie; she loves being pampered in real life too. But then, which girl doesn't?” laughs Gurinder, adding that the actress aced the notes like a pro.
Bhushan Kumar adds, “Gurinder has given a fabulous song and Jacqueline recorded her part recently. We are hoping the song will be liked by all just like we did. I am glad Jacqueline instantly agreed to our requests of singing her part and it's turned out really nice. Now wait and watch the magic touch Remo gives to the song.”
The recording studio that was booked for four hours was used only for 45 minutes; Jackie turned a pro at the recording. The film will be directed by choreographer-filmmaker Remo D'Souza in Mumbai in January.
