The major issue one has with two prestigious big banner extravaganzas releasing on the same day (apart from the fact that the business gets divided) is the acrimony and bad blood that flows as the team of one biggie tries to establish its hegemony over the other. But it seems that there is an exception to the rule as there appears to be a lot of bonhomie and good competitive spirit this time around.
||DILWALE AND BAJIRAO MASTANI
Well, it is obvious that we are referring to the two pre-Christmas releases, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's BAJIRAO MASTANI and Rohit Shetty's DILWALE.
Talking on the subject, the leading man of DILAWALE, Shah Rukh Khan, had some interesting thoughts to share with the fourth estate about the business prospects of the two upcoming releases and the much talked about clash and outcome.

King Khan (who appeared totally calm and composed) did accept that the business prospects will be altered a bit as in a stand alone situation (for either of the two), there would have been as many as 5000 screens available but given the present scenario it would just be 3000 screens at max. The business which could have been generated in two weeks by a single release (BAJIRAO MASTANI or DILWALE), will now come in an almost four weeks (double shift!), despite the fact that the two films belong to two totally different genres and will warrant different audience.
Showing spirit of camaraderie and healthy sportsmanship, Shah Rukh concluded that the cast and director of BAJIRAO MASATNI are dear friends and therefore no one will harbour any ill-will/animosity towards each other and if both the films are good, both will run, as it has happened in the past.
