Now this is surprising! Sanjay Leela Bhansali is not considering his current favourite Ranveer Singh for KHALNAYAK remake.
This inspite of the fact that Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's latest release BAJIRAO MASTANI is bringing all the glory to both as an actor and director respectively. More so, the maverick Bhansali has openly admitted his fondness for Ranveer as an actor and even went on to say that Ranveer is his best expression in current times, but unfortunately his favourite will not feature in his remake of Subhash Ghai's 1993 hit KHALNAYAK that starred Sanjay Dutt.
The director spoke to the media and confirmed the same at a recent awards ceremony. When asked about the casting of Ranveer in his KHALNAYAK remake, he categorically replied, 'No, not at all. That's totally incorrect.'
Well it would be interesting to see who bags the role of Balu Balaram (played by Sanjay Dutt in the original) in Bhansali's KHALNAYAK remake. Initially in 2013, when the news of the remake were making rounds, John Abraham's name got popped up which was eventually denied by Ghai.
It is reported that Bhansali's KHALNAYAK remake won't be exactly a remake but a modern day adaptation.
