Well, B-town perfectionist Aamir Khan seems to be a never ending inspiration. Vidhu Vinod Chopra's upcoming WAZIR that boasts an eclectic cast of Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar has taken a leaf from Aamir's innovative promotion technique witnessed during GHAJINI to create the maximum buzz.

No no, we won,t see the star cast shaving their head and moving all over the town like Aamir did in GHAJINI, but the makers have taken the seed (read idea) of Aamir Khan's promotional gimmick in theatres during the film and gave it an interesting zeal to add the feel.
In coming days, people visiting theatres to watch BAJIRAO MASTANI and DILWALE will find seats consisting of the film's name along with a caricature of Wazir's chessman.
As a part of a unique marketing initiative, WAZIR is set to provide cine-goers a chess board like feel as the headrest of every seat in theatres in alternates of black and white.
When contacted Vidhu Vinod Chopra, he shared, 'I wanted to connect directly to my first day, first show viewers and tell them to begin their new year on a high. And I thought that this was the best way to reach out to them.'
Remember in December 2008 when SRK's much awaited reunion with Aditya Chopra – RAB NE BANA DI JODI got released, Aamir made a smart move by appearing in theatres ahead of his GHAJINI release meeting the crowd who had come to watch SRK, Anushka Sharma starrer. Aamir even influenced the staff members of the multiplex chains he visited, who also got their head shaved a la GHAJINI way.
RAB NE BANA DI JODI was released on December 12 2015 and GHAJINI was the year's Christmas release.
Hmm… déjà vu..
