Varun had totally gotten into his character so when asked the young actor if it was disturbing getting deep into this role he said, “I was disturbed and I went deep, but I don't want to complain about it because I feel it is a part and parcel of making a film. It was and the reason I think is because we didn't shoot on any sets. I remember, everything in this film was shot at a real location. Even the house was somebody's house. The hospitals, jails, criminals, everything was real. So, it was very tangible. I could touch & feel every experience.”

I am not joining any clubs or camps; my job is to just do films. The film being accepted & liked by the audience is the number one goal.”

Also starring Yami Gautam, Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Divya Dutta, Radhika Apte, Vinay Pathak & others, BADLAPUR is directed by Sriram Raghavan & produced by Dinesh Vijan & Sunil Lulla. The film will release on 20th February, 2015.
