MASAAN has not only impressed those at the Cannes Film Festival, but also celebrities back in hometown! When a special screening of the movie was held, actress Dia Mirza seemed awestruck by the movie.

Dia said, “MASAAN is magical. There is a saying na, ki Hindustan ke andar bahut saare Hindustan basein hai (that there is a wide India within India). In that, there is one India that Neeraj has very beautifully and lovingly presented to the audiences. It's such a beautiful experience and I hope that everyone goes, watches the film and gives it all the love. Because the movie just deserves all the love.”

“Neeraj has conveyed so many things about people's changing culture with simplicity, detail and beauty. It is difficult to describe and important to watch. I'm really hoping that many people watch this film,” added Dia.

Ask her about the movie sequel and she says, “Yes, this is one story where many aspects can be taken forward, and that is what is beautiful. There cannot be only a part 2, but many more parts.”

We can't wait for that to happen! Especially when the movie turns out to be so beautiful…

Directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, produced by Manish Mundra, Mélita Toscan du Plantier, Marie-Jeanne Pascal, Guneet Monga, Shaan Vyas, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane & Anurag Kashyap and Co - Produced by Dipa De Motwane, Sophie Seydoux, ARTE France CINEMA & PATHE Production, MASAAN is slated to release on 24th July, 2015.
