Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who made his directorial debut with TAARE ZAMEEN PAR in 2007 will be returning to directing with BARF.
At an interview, when asked him about the film, he said, “I will direct at some point. I am not planning to make it now. I have bought the rights of that and I am going to make it.”
Further ask him if it is an adoption and he says, “BARF is an original script. The thing is if I get into making a film, then I can't act for 2-3 years. As it is my film comes once in two years and if I direct, I will become once in four years.

When asked him if he will be acting in the film or no he said, “No, there is no role for me, I will only be directing it.”
Aamir is currently gearing up for DANGAL which also stars Fatima Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, who will portray the role of his daughters. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, produced by UTV Motion Pictures, DANGAL is slated to release on the Christmas weekend of 2016.
