According to reports, Maggi noodles is under the scanner for high content of lead and mono-sodium glutamate or MSG. Reports also suggest that questions have been raised on celebrities who endorse products that are unsafe for consumption.

At a press conference of his upcoming film WAZIR, when asked on the Maggie row, Amitabh Bachchan, said, “I haven't received any notice yet. As soon as I get it, I'll put it up to my lawyers. We will fully cooperate with whatever the law says. I want to also add that I stopped endorsing Maggie 2 years ago. I don't endorse Maggi anymore now.  So I haven't been associated with the product.”
