Nowadays, many women have all become career oriented & getting married at an early age is not on their priority list. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who has recently won a National Award for QUEEN said that she doesn't have time to get involved or get carried away with equations, relationships or emotions.
Generally, actresses avoid getting married before 30. When asked Kangana if she thinks that marriage affects their career or sex appeal, she said, “Marriage doesn't hamper sex appeal at all. What is really sad is the fact that marriage needs a lot of hard work and if people don't get it, they better get it before getting into it because it's going to sways them. It is going to literally take everything away under their feet. I cannot speak for others but for me, I have worked hard for 10 years and I had no time to get involved or get carried away with equations, relationships or emotions. And now eventually when I am at a place where I can actually make a safe & secure place for myself and have a secure future, I don't want to give it away. Also, when love happens, you don't think so much and if it doesn't then don't force yourself. If it happens it can happen at 21 also and if it doesn't happen, it doesn't have to happen because you're 28, that's no reason to get married.'

Further when asked her if she believes in the institution of marriage or would she prefer living-in relationship, she said, “It is too hard to say anything. To each his own depending on the partner and whether you feel comfortable, safe, and secure. Living in can also be tricky at times. So is marriage, especially when people around you are having ugly legal battles.”
Kangana's upcoming film, TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS also stars R. Madhavan, Jimmy Shergill, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal & others. Directed by Aanand L. Rai and produced by Krishika Lulla & Aanand, the film is set to release on 22nd May, 2015.
