The fad of movies being named after the characters seems to have become a hit.

If one goes to see the movie releases of May, it is evident that ‘Gabbar', ‘Piku' & ‘Tanu- Manu' have taken the Box-Office by storm.

The trend started with Akshay Kumar's GABBAR IS BACK, a movie about fighting corruption that released at the beginning of the month. This was followed by Deepika Padukone's PIKU, a cute story of the relationship between father-daughter, which released on May 8, 2015.

Even the recent film TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS' (which is a sequel to the 2011 movie TANU WEDS MANU) success has only proven that character names could be the secret formula for the movies being a hit at the Box Office.

While we believe that having character names as the movie title has worked, you let us know what do you feel about it.
