Sequels of successful films are considered to be the safest bets at the box-office today, not only for the makers but also the involved stars, as they not only have a probable hit but the roles that they essay is easier for them as they just have to carry forward their histrionics from the prequel with little or no changes.
However the case is just opposite for Madhavan in TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS. Surprised? please read on.
According to Madhavan, the role that he has essayed in TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS is his most difficult one to-date as the director Aanand L Rai has given him very little dialogues and he had to emote through his eyes. Says Madhavan, “Anandji told me on the first day of shooting itself that my character speaks very little in the film. He added that I'd have to use my facial expressions and body language to convey my feelings, reactions and the like. Can you imagine how difficult it was for me with less dialogues.”
The much awaited TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS hits the cinemas worldwide, next Friday.
