After more than a year, Salman Khan's find Daisy Shah, who made her debut with him in JAI HO, will be seen in upcoming film HATE STORY 3 (third installment of HATE STORY). Though she is gearing up for her second venture in Bollywood, it seems Daisy is still puzzled about why her debut film JAI HO failed to entice the audience despite raking in moolah at BO. And to top it all she is being blamed for it.
Daisy says, “What's surprising is that after making a box-office collection of 126 crores at the ticket rates of 250 bucks, critics still declared JAI HO as a flop and blamed me for its failure. People think the entire blame has come on me because JAI HO didn't work. But I am glad that the makers do not blame me for that. They know what went right and what went wrong because our agenda was to reach out to maximum amount of people so the message reaches out to all. And that is what we have achieved and we are proud of it.”
“Having said that, in my concern I have not given up. I am working harder and better every time. From being an assistant choreographer to making a debut with Salman and now again I am getting the chance to do a film is a great thing for me. So, if people think that after earning 126 crore, JAI HO was a flop movie, then I wish HATE STORY 3 also mints 126 crores and is declared as a flop,” adds Daisy.
Ask Daisy if ever her equation changed with Salman after JAI HO's failure and she says, “If he (Salman) thought that I was the reason for JAI HO not working, then he would not have associated with me after that. He is still very much in touch with me and I am in touch with him. I go to him for each and every advice whatever it is.”
No matter if JAI HO flopped at box-office, we hope HATE STORY 3 turns out well for Daisy Shah!
