The film is scheduled to screen at MAMI next month and has already seen a midnight screening at an earlier edition of Cannes Film Festival. “
Not letting him go so easily, we inquired from Atif about the difference between the audio scores of Hindi and Marathi cinema and he clarified, “Audience ‘badal gaya hai' (the audience has evolved)! There is nothing like a Marathi or Hindi cinema today, as may be seen from some of the recent films. Films are pan India. For this Sikhya Entertainment (UDAAN & MASAAN) venture, MONSOON SHOOTOUT, I have gone for western electronic and symphony music. It is quite unique in a way, and you will agree once you listen to the scores. The film has Guneet Monga as the producer”
