Eros teams up with Trinity to hold workshop for aspiring writers at 17th Jio MAMI

Eros International will be holding an open recruitment workshop for aspiring writers at 17th Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival's Mela at Mehboob Studio on Saturday, October 31.

As the Knowledge Partner with the festival, Eros International will hold a Master class session on October 31 at Mehboob Studio, at the Mela with Ajit Thakur, CEO of Trinity Pictures. Trinity Pictures is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eros International that marks the company's focused production initiatives and endeavor to invest in developing intellectual property in-house.

Thakur will speak about the importance of franchise films in India. He will also talk to aspiring writers and directors about potential career opportunities at Eros International.

Trinity Pictures will hold an open recruitment session at the Eros International Stall at the MAMI Mela on Saturday, October 31 at Mehboob Studio where writers looking for a platform can interact with the senior writers from Trinity Writers' Room and submit their applications. Based on these submissions, the selected candidates will be called in for interviews.

Speaking on the recruitment session, Ajit Thakur, CEO, Trinity Pictures said, “We are happy to join hands with a reputable film festival like MAMI that is known for not only showcasing good cinema but also attracting numerous budding writers and directors. At Eros, we are at a very exciting phase with a rapid expansion of slate of movies over the next few years and we are hoping this acclaimed film festival will turn out to be the relevant platform to seek out talented writers we want to work with”.

Anupama Chopra, Festival Director, 17th Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival added, “It's indeed encouraging that a leading studio like Eros is reaching out to the talented directors and writers associated with MAMI to provide them with such an opportunity to showcase their work”.
