That biopics is a new rage in Bollywood, is we all know. And there is no harm as long as they are about some inspiring figures, who have been instrumental in heading or giving the society a new direction. But what is astonishing is filmmakers have gone to such an extent these days that they aren't shying away from telling the stories or rather glorifying the baddies of the society. By highlighting such ‘controversial personalities', the filmmakers are only encouraging a disturbing trend and presenting them as ‘Hero', which eventually might have a negative impact on the patrons. ‘Charles Sobhraj': This week's release MAIN AUR CHARLES that stars Randeep Hooda, highlights the renowned serial killer and drug dealer and also known as 'Bikini Killer' ‘Charles Sobhraj'. While Randeep, who essays the role of the said serial killer, says it with élan that the film doesn't glorify crime or watching such films won't lead the youth to wrong path, we only wonder whatever the actor said (in one of the interviews) if it was such simple.
