Irrfan Khan has been around in the industry for many years now. His first film was SALAAM BOMBAY (his role was edited though) which released way back in 1988.

Although he's been acting ever since, it's only recently that he's getting all the recognition and credit. He's also acting in all sorts of films - be it critically acclaimed films or mainstream ‘masala' films. Not just that, he's also acting in Hollywood films.

In an exclusive chat with Glamsham.com, when we asked the actor if the fame and recognition he's getting now was long overdue and he should've got it much earlier, he said, “Everything has its own time. Destiny has been kind in a way for whatever I have today. For me, the fact that my fans like the work I do and have certain expectations when I do a film itself is extremely fulfilling.”

That's what you call being modest, Irrfan. We hope that your fame, recognition and good work only heads northwards.
