What can be better for a director than to know that their film is being appreciated by the audiences? Meghna Gulzar, director of TALVAR, too is pleased because her movie is attracting a lot of audiences. And she has to credit the critics for doing so.

At TALVAR's special screening, Meghna Gulzar said, “I think receiving a lot of critical appreciation is a very big thing for any filmmaker. Especially receiving appreciation for a film like TALVAR is great. We make a film and think of many ways (promos, trailer) through which we can attract the audiences to theatres. But ultimately when a critic writes about a film, the audience starts believing in the movie even more. They trust critics more than filmmakers. The audiences think that if the critics have written something good about the movie, then they should watch the film. Majority of credit for success of TALVAR goes to critics, because they have supported the film throughout. So thank you.”

Glad to hear that TALVAR is gaining a lot of appreciation, Meghna.
