From showing flowers in kissing scenes to extreme skin show during lovemaking scenes, Bollywood has indeed come a long way. This has also got to do with the change in culture. However, unlike international and Hollywood films, there are still some things, like nudity, which are a big no no.
Mugdha Godse, who is best known for her role in FASHION and who'll next be seen in ISHQ NE CRAZY KIYA RE says, “You can't beat Hollywood because their culture and thinking process is different. Our Indian audiences are differently made and traditionally driven. You have to see what audience you are serving. If you're doing an international film and if you have nude scenes, it's understandable.”
She further adds that that she has no problem in donning the birthday suit. “I can go completely nude as an actor. But it's a tricky question as it depends on the director and the script. If a director has only thought of a nude scene and then goes around it, I won't do it. So I have no problem going completely nude but the director and the team have to be good. But it's less likely to happen here because they will call Kareena Kapoor or Bipasha Basu or somebody, they won't call me. But you never know. Miracles do happen.”
Even we think that showing full nude scenes is less likely to happen, at least in the near future, in Bollywood. But you can expect some filmmakers to surprise us.
