While we know quite a bit about father Pankaj Kapoor and son Shahid Kapoor's bond, also Shahid's superb equation with (step mom) Supriya Pathak, we have hardly heard anything about Shahid's relation with half-sister Sanah Kapoor, who is all set to make her debut with upcoming release SHAANDAAR.
“I think we share a bond which hopefully most elder brother and younger sister share. He is an amazing, very lovable elder brother. He pampers me a lot. I look up to him and love him a lot. It's a great relationship that we share. We are like normal siblings,” says Sanah as she talks about her bond with elder brother Shahid Kapoor.
Ask Sanah if he is also this over protective and possessive elder brother, who checks her phone, keeps an eye on where she is heading, whom she is hanging out with and all and she admits, “Well he never checked my phone and he would never do something like that but yes whenever he is at home and when I am going out, he would often ask where I am going, what time I'll be back, who is going along with me and those 10000 questions…he would be like ‘Make sure I am your elder brother and make sure if you have any problem you do call me.' So he was that horribly protective older brother (laughs).”

But Sanah and Shahid never had fights like many siblings do. “We never had a fight. He is much older than me in age. We have a large age difference. He was already quite old when I was born. So, for him I was like this little baby of his. And I am still a baby for him,” says the little sister of Shahid Kapoor.
Sanah further recalls and shares how elder brother Shahid came to her rescue, “There was an instance once when I was stuck up in the lift and it was 3 am in the night and I couldn't call anybody else because our family was not in town. So bhaiya was the only one who was there. I called him and he got me out of there. If he would not have been there I would have totally freaked out. Because I knew he was there so it was a great help.”
Now that they have acted together in the film SHAANDAAR, ask Sanah how was the experience working with bade bhaiyya on the sets and she says, “We had lot of fun working together on the sets. I am lucky that my family gave me my own space and let me develop my own character, let me work the way I wanted to do. They never intruded in. On the contrary they used to purposely stay away from me thinking if they said anything to me I might just take it as if they are intruding. But it was very nice.”
Well, Sanah, you do have an amazing bro like Shahid Kapoor.
