Besides father-son Pankaj Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor acting together in the upcoming film SHAANDAAR, what has caught everyone's attention is the fact that Pankaj Kapoor's daughter and Shahid Kapoor's half-sister Sanah Kapoor is also sharing screen space with them. Not only this, she is even making her debut with this Vikas Bahl directed film that also stars Alia Bhatt.

Sanah recently confessed in few of the interviews that she wanted to be an actor right from childhood. We couldn't resist asking her if she deliberately chose SHAANDAAR as her launch pad and she said, “Actually, I didn't know that my dad is going to be a part of this film. He came on board after me. So I was already signed. After a month my dad and brother were roped in. Moreover, me taking up the movie had nothing to do with they being part of the film. The only fact that mattered was when I read the character, I loved it. Also, it had a very good director like Vikas Bahl (who made QUEEN), so I was really looking forward to work with them.”

When it came to her knowledge that both father and bro are part of it, did Sanah think of quitting on the contrary or was damn excited or rather nervous how will she perform in front of them? “I was very nervous about how will I perform in front of them. I was scared actually. There was no excitement because I knew it's going to be tough firstly as a newcomer, secondly to work with such great actors, and then knowing that they are your family. Because, I think everyone wants to prove their family that they are good enough. So, I was apprehensive and scared about the fact that this is my first time and then you are working with such great personalities and also a great director. That was very intimidating. But eventually, if you truly love a character and think you can do something with it, then that's what matters the most,” Sanah gets candid.
Well, Sanah we truly understand your feelings as a newcomer and especially when you are working with your family in the same film.
