Coming from a family of talented actors like Pankaj Kapur, Supriya Pathak and Shahid Kapoor (who have been raved for their performances several times), it's quite expected that newbie Sanah Kapur would also stun us with her acting caliber.

Now that her debut film SHAANDAAR has released and she is even receiving praises for her performance, ask Sanah whose style she imitated from the family and she says, “I didn't adopt anybody's style. I made my own style. I think growing up in the family of actors, I have a heard a lot from everybody. We talk around the table or we even have conversations about work, so you learn, you imbibe and you take in things and eventually you make your own mark. All three of them either it is papa Pankaj Kapur, mom Supriya Pathak or bhaiyya Shahid Kapoor, everyone has their own way of doing things. None of us are similar in our styles or in our way of acting or trying to understand the character. All of us have our own unique style.”

Though she belongs to the family of actors, who have always been lauded and regarded, Sanah prefers not to rate their talent. “They are my family! I am too biased to be able to choose one good actor or rate them. I would never rate my family and if I do that I will get into lot of trouble. All of them are exceptional actors in their own aspect as all of them have worked in very different genres, different kind of roles. So it is very difficult to compare. I think all of them are amazing and I wish I can live up to that level. We are very professional that way,” says Sanah.

While she shared the screen space with brother Shahid Kapoor and father Pankaj Kapur in the very first film, didn't she miss her mom Supriya Pathak or Supriya ji missed being part of SHAANDAAR? “I think mom was quite happy not being part of SHAANDAAR. She could take care of us as all of us working together is quite a stressful thing. And she was there for everyone, whether it was dad or bhaiyya or me, whatever we needed she was there sorting things between us,” Sanah signs off.
