Tahir Raj Bhasin who impressed us with his villainy in YRF's MARDAANI starring Rani Mukherjee is a talented actor and loves the shades of grey.. but in his over excitement the actor has unknowingly called the iconic B-town villains Gabbar and Mogambo out of sync and times..
Don,t know how strongly the B-town diehards of Sholay, Mr India, Gabbar and Mogamabo will react to this comment from the actor who will be seen in yet another negative role in AbhinayDeo's upcoming action-thriller FORCE 2 starring John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha in lead.
Tahir loves grey shades and is not at all afraid to be type casted as a villain, he says, “It is a great time for grey characters in the Hindi film industry. They have evolved, and have more dimensions now. The actors I admire, like Irrfan Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, achieved fame by doing negative roles. Irrfan did Haasil (2003), while Shah Rukh did Darr (1993). I think black and white villains, like Gabbar and Mogambo, are slowly fading out."
Busy shooting a marathon 40 day action sequences for FORCE 2 in Budapest, Hungary, Tahir is quick to add that as a person he is not villain by heart and romantic for a change, he says, “I am a Shah Rukh Khan romantic at heart. Someday, I will do a traditional romantic role. But everything takes its own course.”
Got your point Tahir but really can the iconic Gabbar and Mogambo can be out from a Bollywood lovers heart.. what about the 'Lion' Ajit... Mona Darling isko SHOLAY or Mr. INDIA repeat kar kar ke dikhao..
