Veteran actor and filmmaker Tinnu Anand is all set to wield the megaphone after a long hiatus. He is returning to direction after almost 17 years by remaking his own film KAALIA.
When we asked the reason behind taking a backseat with direction, he disclosed, “I have not directed for last so many years and the only basic reason was I had given myself time off. I had started enjoying acting too much and it was a lazier job than directing. I took off from direction because I gave too much to my last film (MAJOR SAAB) and that is when I decided to stick to acting. Also, people wanted me to act so I thought why not stick to one profession which is easier.”
Besides, Tinnu has also been choosy about directing, whereas he has done numerous acting projects. “Yes that's the whole point you see. I enjoy acting so much that it really doesn't matter what film I am doing. Direction is such a hard-working and painstaking job. One has to pick and choose and give life to it, which I have done in every film of mine.”
So what made him don the director's hat yet again? “I just wanted to shed my laziness now and come back to direction,” Tinnu ji says swiftly.
Welcome back, Tinnuji!
