If latest reports are to be believed, Madhur Bhandarkar said that a movie on Sheena Bora case would evoke interest. But why depend on reports when you can hear straight from the horse's mouth?
We caught up with the ace director Madhur Bhandarkar when he was promoting his upcoming film CALENDAR GIRLS and asked him how true the reports were and also if he would be interested in making a movie on Sheena Bora case.
Madhur Bhandarkar, in reply to our question, said, 'I'm not making it. I said yes, it is a plot for a film. When somebody comes and narrates it to me, I would definitely be excited. If tomorrow somebody comes and tells me ki yaar aisa subject hai (that this is the subject), I would definitely think that what can be done. It is encouraging for me as a filmmaker and is definitely intriguing. But obviously it's a sub judice matter and the investigation is still going on. So I think, as a filmmaker, it will definitely excite as a subject.'
And it already excites us to think about how the movie would turn out to be if you made it, especially since you specialize in such hard-hitting realistic cinema! We really think you are one of those directors who can do justice to the movie and create the right impact, Madhur ji.
