You can love him or ignore him but you really can't escape being standup comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma's butt of jokes. Like many, Simran Kaur Mundi, who plays one of the wives of Kapil in the upcoming film KIS KISKO PYAAR KAROON, also became his target on the sets.

Says Simran with a hearty laugh, “You can't escape being butt of his jokes. It's a natural thing for him to keep pulling legs of people. Whenever he is there on the sets, you never know when and how he will come up with something funny and have you in splits. And I really like that about him. He keeps the environment very light.”

But did she find it offensive at any point of time? “No why should I get offended? We very well know that Kapil does it all in fun. We all are acquainted with him. We have this understanding so there was not such a problem,” Simran makes it clear.
With Kapil making the environment hilarious with his gags, Simran even had a little difficulty in focusing on work at one point of time. “Luckily I don't have much of serious scenes in the film. I just had one serious scene in the film to do. Initially, it used to happen that the minute I used to look at Kapil, I would start laughing because he has the habit of making people laugh. When he realized that I am facing a problem to shoot a serious scene and that I wasn't getting serious, Kapil helped me out on that. He started talking to me in Punjabi and encouraged me to focus on work. But I was still finding it funny because I can't imagine him being serious. But we managed to pull off that scene,” the lanky actress shares her one-off experience.

Simran further also disclosed about one of the incidents on the sets when she burst into laughing while enacting a scene with Kapil. She said, “There was a scene where Kapil had to take off the veil on his face and show his face. The minute he removed the veil, he really made a funny face and I burst out laughing. And everyone on the set was like ‘Take challu hai so please be serious'. In fact at times, I even used to forget the dialogues because he used to make funny faces or keep saying some funny lines.”
But when Kapil had to do a serious act, he left everybody stunned including Simran.
“In one of the scenes, which is between Kapil and Supriya Pathak ji, he was supposed to be serious and I was really looking forward to see how he performs. And we all were quiet on the sets because Kapil, who makes everyone laughs, just made everybody speechless! When he did that scene I was like Oh! My God is this the same person, who makes us laugh? That was shocking to discover a serious side of his,” Simran reveals with a delight as she signs off.
