Making a comeback after nearly two decades, actor and filmmaker Tinnu Anand is donning the director's hat once again with the remake of his own film KAALIA. While his directorial debut KAALIA was loved by everyone, Tinnu's second outing SHAHENSHAH was (in fact till date) more popular with the movie-buffs.
Interestingly, both the films starred megastar Amitabh Bachchan. But the latter became synonyms with Big B and thereafter he became the eternal ‘Shahenshah' of Bollywood!

Ask Tinnu ji why he chose KAALIA over SHAHENSHAH or he has plans to have a remake of SHAHENSHAH as well and he says candidly, “SHAHENSHAH is more iconic than KAALIA. The only person who is known as the ‘Shahenshah' of this industry is Amitabh Bachchan. So, let's not change it. The only face and name that comes up is of Mr. Bachchan. A modern SHAHENSHAH will not work. But a modern KAALIA may work.”
Well, we too agree with you Tinnu ji!
