While shooting for a particular (in fact the first scene) scene of HAPPY BHAAG JAYEGI on the top of a bus, Ali even clicked a selfie. Clad in denim jackets and sporting slight beard, Ali is seen travelling with locales of Punjab.

It is being said that Ali is playing a typical Punjabi munda in the film, who will slightly speak with Punjabi accent. HAPPY BHAAG JAYEGI will also star Abhay Deol and Diana Penty along with him.
