300 was undeniably one of the most epic Hollywood films. And when Ajay Devgn said that one of his upcoming films titled SONS OF SARDAAR is going to match the scale of 300, we were shocked; so shocked that we actually didn't know how to react after reading it.

Announcing about his film, Ajay Devgn wrote on a microblogging site, “Need ur best wishes for Sons Of Sardaar, will match the scale of Hollywood war film 300 and based on epic Battle of Saragarhi. Diwali 2017.”

We were curious to know a little more about the Battle of Saragarhi and hence we did a little research on it. According to which, the Battle of Saragarhi was fought on September 12, 1897 where 21 Sikhs of the 36th Sikhs of British India, were defending an army post, fighting against 10,000 Afghans. The 21 Sikh contingent was led by Havildar Ishar Singh.

We think it is a little too early to compare the film to 300. We're not denying that SONS OF SARDAAR can be as big, but let's wait till it is released. It's better to not bite off more than you can chew. We still hope for the best. *fingerscrossed*
