In the big-budgeted movies especially, haven't you noticed those annoying product placements?  They look so forced that you'll think twice about using that product or service again in your life. And not just us, it's also the celebs who don't really like those glaring in-film brands.

At a recent press conference, Neha Dhupia, who's known to speak her mind about various issues, was asked about her take on in-film branding. She said, “It's revenue return and I do agree that most of the times it does get in your face. However, in some films, they are subtle about it. I was watching a web series this morning which had a lot of in-film branding. But it was very subtle and didn't hurt the eye at all. Even PIKU had a lot of in-film branding and it didn't hurt the eyes.  But it gives a sense of security. I think filmmakers, producers, directors have marketing teams and they should be allowed to do that. It happens internationally also and I can go on and on about it. But I feel it should be subtle.”
