National award winner Manoj Bajpai's upcoming emotional thriller drama TRAFFIC has the potential to influence more practice of the good humanitarian ‘Green Corridor' system says ACP (Additional Commissioner of Police) Sunil Paraskar.
Invited as the special guest today during the trailer launch of TRAFFIC – The Hindi remake of 2011 film by the same name written by Bobby and Sanjay. The Assistant Commissioner of Police after watching the trailer said that he is hopeful that the movie will spread more awareness of the good ‘Green Corridor' initiative and it will be put into more practice.
Hailed as one of the defining moments of new age Malayalam cinema and helmed by late Rajesh Pillai, TRAFFIC is a thrilling emotional roller coaster ride inspired from an actual event that happened in Chennai where in a heart-warming incident, the life of a patient suffering from a threatening heart disease was saved. The medical team transported a donor's heart to a hospital via a specially created route.
Starring Manoj Bajpayee as the Traffic Police Officer along with Jimmy Sheirgill, Divya Dutta, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Sachin Khedekar and Kitu Gidwani in pivotal roles, the movie is now specially connected to Manoj Bajpai's heart due to the helmer late Rajesh Pillai. Manoj missed the director immensely today at the launch and felt that Pillai's divine spirit is helping things to turn out in the best possible way it can.
The Hindi version of TRAFFIC is it's third remake. It has already has been remade in Tamil as CHENNAIYIL ORU NAAL and in Kannada as CRAZY STAR.
ACP (Additional Commissioner of Police) Sunil Paraskar along with his 6 Green Corridor officers are glad to find that the movie showcases the noble cause of Police into limelight and all where delighted to share space with their favorite ‘Bhiku Mhatre'.
A Fox Star Studios and EndemolShine India production, TRAFFIC is scheduled to release on 6th May, 2016.
