That filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma loves to be in the headlines is we all know. Just a few days back RGV faced the ire of the crazy fans of Rajinikanth, when he made certain remarks on a micro-blogging site on the megastar in his quirky style. And now the filmmaker out of the blue has shown his concern for superstar Shah Rukh Khan, especially his superstardom. RGV fears that much like Kamal Haasan, who couldn't surpass megastar Rajnikanth because of his experimental ways in his heydays, Shah Rukh may also lose his stardom to Salman Khan.

And what made RGV say so? It seems Shah Rukh's recent decisions of playing an obsessed ‘Fan' of himself in the film FAN and taking up a dwarf role in Aanand L Rai's upcoming project aren't sounding prudent to RGV. Making an analogy with Kamal-Rajni, RGV wrote on social networking site, “Megastar SRK becoming ordinary fan, dwarf etc is as big a same blunder as what Kamal Hasan did to lose his stardom to Rajnikant(Salman Khan). Kamal was as big a superstar as Rajnikant till he started doing dwarf, fat, tall etc nd as a fan I hope SRK doesn't listen to wrong advisers.”
He added, “Kamal Hasan could have been a btr Rajnikant if he din't keep bcmng some1 else..so SRK should learn from Kamal's mistakes and just be Salman. Rajnikant is Rajnikant bcos he always himself and Kamal always trying to be someone else..I hope SRK will remain like himself like Salman.”
RGV also provided a piece of advice for the superstar. He said, “SRK must learn from mistakes of kamal and not listen to near n dear ones who are stopping him from becoming a Mega Rajnikant.”
Besides showing his concern for Shah Rukh's star status, he also placed SRK above Salman and Aamir, “I call SRK as Megastar becos he neither has muscles of Salman nor workmanship of Aamir but yet he is taller than both by being just himself.”
RGV, who has launched umpteen new talents in the industry and worked with several actors, shares that there are a dozen talented actors around but very few are blessed to be stars, and SRK is one of the them.
“Clint Eastwood super star for30 yrs bng himself n then is critics Hero .i don't believe in God but as fan I pray to Allah SRK realises truth. Grt actrs r dime a dozen in NSD, Stage etc whereas Stars like SRK come blessed by God/Allah/Buddha etc, which is what SRK is not realizing.” He posted on the micro-blogging site.
While RGV's opinion is not wrong, we wonder why the filmmaker is displaying his over-the-top concern for Shah Rukh Khan, with whom he doesn't really share any rapport, the duo has never worked together and there are not even any reports of getting them together.
Either the filmmaker is on the verge to bond/associate with Shah Rukh Khan and even plans to work with him in near future or the filmmaker has some other agenda behind it. Well, whatever it is, we are somehow not complaining what RGV wants to convey!
Wonder, how Shah Rukh will take it?
