She came in the industry with a movie starring big names and went unnoticed but today she is amongst the actresses every director wants to work with at least once. Shraddha Kapoor sure spreads such charm and now the actress has geared up for some action in BAAGHI! In an interview with us, the actress spoke about her film, success, failure and more.

Here are the excerpts:

Buzz says that BAAGHI will have an opening above 10 crores. What do you have to say?
I suck at the business angle of filmmaking. I have no idea what opening is good or bad. Even with EK VILLAIN or ABCD 2, when somebody told me the film has opened very well, I would be clueless. I don't understand the figures. I feel that if predicted the opening will be good, then it's a good thing. I want people to go, buy tickets and watch the film.

You wanted to do an action film. So how does it feel now after bagging it?
I'm very happy to do action in our film. But I must be very honest and straightforward that it's Tiger all the way. Yes it's the first time I'm doing action, but I've done very little of it. I had a blast doing all the action scenes, but hope people enjoy watching it.

Did you injure yourself during the action?
Yes I did. During ABCD 2 I injured my left leg and in this it was my right leg. It was very painful but I still had to continue my training. Tiger also had a lot of injuries. That's part-and-parcel. It wasn't easy and you cannot expect yourself to not get injured.

Did you tell Sabbir Khan to tone down the action for you especially?
No. In fact there was one kick which I really wanted to do. I had seen it in movies, but when I saw it in front of me, I was apprehensive about doing it. Sabbir sir asked me to try it, but I said I was overexcited. He was the one to push me. So I rehearsed a lot and hopefully, I've done it right.

"During ABCD 2, I injured my left leg and in BAAGHI, my right"

Are you happy with the end result - about looking at yourself in the action avatar?
I've not watched our film yet. During dubbing, whatever little bit I saw, it felt that I could've improved.

From TEEN PATTI to now, how did the perception towards you change? Has your approach to films changed?
I want to push myself more. I've been extremely grateful for all the love that has come my way, but want to try something new or the other as an actor.

Amongst your contemporaries, you have worked with almost 80% of the younger actors. Do you also plan to work with, say Ranveer Singh?
No. There's no planning yaar. It's interesting that this happened by co-incidence and I'm happy I got the opportunity to work with them.

Tell us something about Sia?
As you saw, she's got one cool thing that she can protect herself. Apart from the not-messing-around with her part, she's a really soft person and does whatever her father wants her to do. She'll not question it. She'll speak to the clouds because they are her best friends. She's quite imaginative in that sense.
