A move over the amazingly sweet and powerfully moving and emotionally resonant adage on parent and parenting PIKU, The reunion of Shoojit Sircar and Big B in PINK sheds light on a dark and difficult story. Focusing on the heinous crime/situations/actions that still occurs on women and its aftermath, the trailer opens with Big B interrogating Taapsee Pannu in a court room.

Moving on the trailer gets into the thriller mode by baffling the viewer with the image of Amitabh Bachchan following Taapsee Pannu wearing a mask and Taapsee holding firm and strong against someone who has probably molested her and/or friends and associates played by Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang and Angad Bedi.

Directed by National award winner ANTAHEEN (2006) Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the movie unlike other films dealing with such issues PINK (symbolically titled for women empowerment). The movie set in Delhi seems to get much deeper in asking its questions making a comment and hopefully provides a hope in the end.

Produced by Rashmi Sharma & Shoojit Sircar, PINK releases on 16 September 2016.
