Tell us something about your role in RUSTOM?
It was an amazing role and I quite liked the script of the movie.
Did you research about Vikram Makhija?
Yes, we all went through the research process.
As the movie deals with infidelity what is your take on rising number of break-ups & divorces in and outside Bollywood?
I feel if the partner is not in love, they shouldn't indulge in commitment or marry. Cheating is something I don't feel should be pardoned.
"Cheating is something I don't feel should be pardoned."
As you have action scenes with Akshay Kumar, and he is coined as ‘khiladi', how was your experience filming action sequences with him?
I have been his fan and it was an honor to do a movie with him. We did talk in between the shots and that's how the ice broke. He was indeed helpful and kind. We also had certain action sequences for which he guided me as well. Apart from that I also hurt myself while filming it.
You have worked with several actresses like Priyanka, Vidya, Ileana and many more whom would like to work with now?
I admire Priyanka a lot she is fabulous. I would love to work with her time and again. Apart from that I have also worked with Vidya Balan, Aishwariya Rai, Ileana, Esha. I want to work with Deepika Padukone now.
What keeps you away from commercial cinema and take up very selective offbeat roles?
I have always been a character actor and have taken up roles which showcase my skills as an actor. But now I will take up more films which have many more skills to show like dancing or singing. Its time I now take up such roles.
Any one specific role that you are looking wish to do?
I want to do a period drama, a warrior role.
As MOHENJO DARO and RUSTOM are releasing on the same day, what do you have to say about the big clash?
I want both the film to do well.
