Everybody (including me) would love to watch RUSTOM on the big screen as compared to MOHENJO DARO, but the period drama also cannot be ignored, especially since Hrithik Roshan took a long break from his movies to come up with this one.
There surely would be something special about it, because of which it has an edge over RUSTOM. Here's how:
||MOHENJO DARO and RUSTOM POSTER
In a time where Bollywood films are facing the brunt of the censor board, Ashutosh Gowariker's MOHENJO DARO was given a green signal from the Central Board of Film Certification with a UA certificate. The film has been cleared by the CBFC with no cuts.
By garnering a UA certificate, MOHENJO DARO proves to be a complete treat for the family audience.
On the other hand, RUSTOM is a story about how Rustom Akshay Kumar's wife Ileana D'Cruz has an extra marital affair and what happens once Arjan Bajwa, the person she has an affair with, dies.
Looking at the plot, it definitely seems like RUSTOM might face some cuts (because of the probably passionate, intense scenes between Ileana and Arjan) and because of the violence.
In that case, it looks like MOHENJO DARO has an upper edge of RUSTOM.
With MOHENJO DARO releasing over a long weekend, as Independence Day, Parsi New Year and Raksha Bandhan fall back to back. The film would prove to be a perfect option for quality family time.
The film's rushes prove that MOHENJO DARO is set to be a complete entertainer with action and romance in abundance in addition to Hrithik Roshan and his exhilarating dancing combined by the freshness brought to celluloid by Pooja Hedge, all under Ashutosh Gowariker's direction.
Ashutosh Gowariker's MOHENJO DARO is an action-romance set in the pre historic era of MOHENJO DARO, a subject which intrigues many children and teenagers in a perfect blend of a story which is to leave the adults and the children, touched with romance and thrilled with action.
