Girish Kumar, son of Tips head honcho Kumar S. Taurani, embarked his career with a love story RAMAIYA VASTAVAIYA, helmed by Prabhu Dheva. Call it a coincidence or a strategic move, now his second film LOVESHHUDA, that released lately, is also a romantic love tale.

“There is no particular aim or target to be the romantic guy. There was not any plan or strategy. It just happened that I got to do two love stories back-to-back. It's just that I got two really good films and I wanted to be part of it,” says Girish when asked about concentrating on romantic genre.

While he played a very simple, lovable yet quirky character of Ram in his first film, Girish's character is bit complex in LOVESHHUDA, who eventually realizes what love is.

Not everyone can pull off a romantic genre. For years, we have worshipped Shah Rukh Khan as the ‘romance badshah' but now Girish seems to be enjoying the ‘romantic guy' tag. In fact, he would love to be called as the ‘Prince Of Romance' after Shah Rukh Khan.

“Everybody loves romance. If Shah Rukh Khan can be the ‘King of Romance', I can be Prince of Romance.  Whenever he thinks he had it enough, I will take over his throne. Obviously, when he feels it enough for him,” quips Girish before signing off.
