Grandpa Rishi Kapoor is hail and hearty even at an old age (even though he's lying on what seems like a hospital bed), and the family is just perfect the way it is!
But also, the poster gives us a definite STUDENT OF THE YEAR feeling, and we've become completely nostalgic now!
The similarities we find between STUDENT OF THE YEAR and KAPOOR AND SONS is that the cast (Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Rishi Kapoor) are in the frame, and more so, Rishi Kapoor, when lying on the bed takes us back in time (if one remembers, STUDENT OF THE YEAR was a flashback of the college times and Rishi Kapoor was shown lying on a hospital bed in the present times there too).
But of course, we find this family poster much more cuter (especially because grandpa Rishi Kapoor is seen spreading smiles across Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan and Ratna Pathak Shah's face!)
With bundle of talent gathered in one frame, we have just become all the more excited for KAPOOR AND SONS! Are you listening, Shakun Batra?
