Manish Paul and Karan Johar's bromance may have been well appreciated by the audiences, but unfortunately, Manish Paul in his exclusive TERE BIN LADEN: DEAD OR ALIVE interviews with us, revealed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is the director that currently tops his to-work-with list.

Here are some excerpts from the interview:

When did the acting keeda first bite you?
Since school. I used to be acting since school – take part in dramatics and plays. So I was very clear that I wanted to act since childhood.

Abhishek called me. He saw me in ‘Jhalak Diklaa Jaa' and wanted to cast me for a film which had a smaller role. But then something changed his mind and he asked me to play the lead in his film. That's when auditions happened and I bagged the role.

Was it before MICKEY VIRUS or after that?
It was before the release of MICKEY VIRUS.

So were you offered the role that you are playing or some other role?
In TERE BIN LADEN: DEAD OR ALIVE, I was offered this role.

A director you'd like to work with?
A lot of them, but the one to top my list currently is Sanjay Leela Bhansali, especially after BAJIRAO MASTANI. Apart from him, I asked Abhishek Sharma to do one more film. Abhishek Kapoor, Vikas Bahl and Sriram Raghavan are on my list too.

"Whenever Salman Bhaijaan calls me, I'll be there for him"

You said that you have close relations with Salman Khan. So any plans to work with him in the future?
If he gives me the opportunity, I would definitely like to. I'm no one to decide that, it's bhai who decides. Whenever Bhaijaan (I call Salman Khan bhaijaan) calls me, I'll be there for him always because he's always been there.

Would you like to be a director/producer any time soon?
If the flow goes there.

Any plans of going to Hollywood?
Why not? Everybody's going to the West. I read so much of west that I reached Bandra West.

Have you ever thought of an optional career?
No yaar. I never had or even thought of a plan B.

Your future projects?
I'm doing a film called KATHA directed by Khalid Mohammad. It's in the post-production stage. Apart from that, I'm doing a film called BABA BLACK SHEEP (an action comedy with the story of a father, played by Anupam sir and son), which I'm starting from end of Feb.
