Filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor will be at the receiving end this year at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival, Yes, the director, whose DHANAK (Rainbow) won the Grand Prix of Berlin's Generation's International Jury at 65th Berlin International Film Festival last year, is headed to attend the Berlin Film Festival (February 11-21) this year in the capacity as Generation KPlus International Jury (for children).
When contacted, Nagesh admits that it's not only a big honour, but will also be more relaxing than last year. He says, “It is a genuine honour to serve on the Generation K Plus Jury at the Berlin Film Festival since it is one of the best festivals in the world. It will be much more relaxing to attend the festival without the stress of screening your own film. When DHANAK won the Grand Prix last year, I was at the receiving end, so it will be fun to actually hand out the prize this year.”
Role reversal time for Nagesh!
