While Akshay Kumar's AIRLIFT has turned to be the first hit (in fact superhit) of 2016, not to be left behind, Sonam Kapoor has followed the success of her Salman Khan starrer, PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO, this time single handedly!

Obviously we are talking about NEERJA, which has indeed managed a bountiful opening weekend (as we had indicated on Saturday), netting 22 crore (to be validated). Not only that,  NEERJA is also doing remarkably in the overseas,  grossing over $1.5m,  during  the opening weekend (19-21 February).

With an all-inclusive budget of 19-20 crore and given the escalating day wise collections, NEERJA is surely on way to be the second hit of 2016!
