If you thought perfectionist Aamir Khan's intolerance controversy has died down, then probably it is still not over for him. Wondering why are we saying so after knowing the fact that how Aamir has distanced himself from the media and such matters? Well, the latest reports suggest that the tourism ministry has sacked Aamir from ‘Incredible India' campaign.
Reportedly, the actor, who was once regarded for being the face of Incredible India, has been deposed as the brand ambassador of the campaign.
Even when Aamir had made statements over intolerance, one of India's popular shopping website (which is being endorsed by Aamir) out of nowhere received flak on social media and bore the brunt as per the news reports. In fact, it was held that many users deleted the app to show their protest against the e-commerce firm of which Aamir Khan is the brand ambassador. However, the online marketplace immediately issued a statement and distanced itself from the remarks saying it is no way connected or plays a role in the comments made by Aamir Khan in his personal capacity. Not only this, it is being said that even the rival company showed their support to the e-commerce brand on a micro-blogging site.
Despite the entire hullabaloo Aamir still continues to be the face of this popular shopping website brand; however the perfectionist has now lost the brand like ‘Incredible India'.
Well, we wonder how Aamir Khan will react on this (if the news is true)!
