There is something common between actors Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan and Purab Kohli these days that is forming a connecting link. Well, interestingly all three learnt Arabic language either for their respective characters they play in the film or out of hobby.

While Akshay, who will be essaying the role of Ranjit Katyal in director Raja Krishna Menon's AIRLIFT, took Arabic lessons in order to perfectly portray his character with right accent & pronunciation, Purab Kohli, who will also be seen in the film, reportedly took few lessons in Arabic as he seemed attracted to the culture. Also, he essays the role of Ibrahim Durani, a small town man from India who works in the Middle East. So, it somehow worked for him.
And now the very versatile Varun Dhawan, after performing some amazing stunts for his upcoming action adventure film DISHOOM, has also been learning a new language for his character. As DISHOOM is set in the backdrop of Middle East Asia, we hear the actor is spending a lot of time learning the local language (Arabic) for shaping up his character in the film.
Varun has been religiously dedicating time to learning the language and his Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has been lending complete support for the same. Sajid Nadiadwala has appointed an Arabic diction coach who has been helping the actor brush up his diction. The coach has been present on the sets to help the actor refine the nuances of the language.
Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan and Purab Kohli's this ‘Arabic' connection is pretty interesting!
