Netting 101 crore during the opening week, DILWALE will have to rely on the worldwide run to be termed a success. And that due to the falling collections and huge budget (100 crore), without SRK's remuneration (who will partake in the profits). DILWALE continues it's super overseas run grossing $17m, with £1,650,000 from UK and $3,965,000 from the US, till the second weekend (25-27 December).

Moving on, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Priyanka, Ranveer and Deepika starrer BAJIRAO MASTANI, which lagged behind during the opening weekend (45 crore), started catching up with DILWALE Monday onwards. During the opening week BAJIRAO MASTANI has netted 85 crore from India, and despite a huge price (125 crore), the film is set to be at least a hit, if not more, given the (worldwide) trend. BAJIRAO MASTANI has also put up a good show in the overseas (especially US) grossing $9.50m (approx) with £765,000 from UK and $4,300,000 from the US, till the second weekend (25-27 December).
